Patricia Soza is a licensed Acupuncturist who received a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches Institute. Patricia specializes in Orthopedics, Women’s Health, and Neurology. Chinese Medicine combines the use of Acupuncture, Tuina Massage, Chinese herbs, cupping, moxa and nutrition to effectively treat various illnesses. Chinese Medicine promotes balance in the neuromuscular system to relieve pain and promote tissue healing and restores blood flow and immune function. Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific locations on the body. Cupping consists of glass cups that create a suction on the surface of the skin to restore blood flow to that area to release toxins. Moxa restores blood circulation and warms an area on the body with the use of on herb called Chinese Mugwort. Tuina Massage is a type of massage that stimulates and soothes the tissue in the body and brings overall balance and relaxation. Chinese herbs are an effective treatment for various imbalances in the body and may be taken internally or externally. Nutritional recommendations are made to promote overall health.
